Use the calendar, daily tiles or the list to keep staff and billing on track. helpKey: Activities generated: true --- # How activities work The Activities section lets stable owners and staff plan, organise and complete everything that happens to horses – training, vet visits, care, breeding checks and facility reservations. All pages show the same activities, so an activity created in one view appears everywhere. ## How it works together 1. Configure activity types, day‑part divisions, breeding parameters and calendar feeds in [Settings](/documentation/activities-settings/). 2. View the calendar and create or move activities for any date in [Planning](/documentation/planning/). 3. For the current day, fine‑tune assignments with drag‑and‑drop in [Day](/documentation/action-list-day/); assign horses to staff or adjust times. 4. Review the full list of today’s activities, filter or group them, and mark them done in [List](/documentation/action-list/). 5. Check each horse’s recent and upcoming care tasks and plan new ones in [Care](/documentation/care-planning/); the new care activity becomes a regular activity. 6. If you run a breeding program, manage daily mare‑cycle checks in [Mare cycle checks](/documentation/mare-cycle-check-day/); these checks also appear as activities. 7. Look back at past or upcoming activities for a horse or the whole stable in [Activity history](/documentation/activity-history/); you can also add missing activities here. ## Good to know - All pages reflect the same set of activities; changes made in one view instantly appear in the others. - If an activity type has a price defined in the financial settings, it becomes a billable item automatically when you mark the activity done. - The **Hide empty groups** option only removes groups without activities, and the Stable filter is shown only when you have more than one stable. - Drag‑and‑drop planning works only after you have selected an activity type in the sidebar; otherwise the app shows a warning.
