Use the left‑ and right‑arrow buttons to scroll through more feedings. - **Horse rows**: Each row shows the horse name, usage badges, stable or temporary location and box number when applicable. - **Feed cell**: Shows the feed type, quantity and any warning icon. Cells are highlighted amber when the feed changes today or tomorrow, with a small label **Changes today** or **Changes tomorrow**. - **Add new feed**: A plus icon appears in an empty cell when you have permission to manage feeds; tapping it opens the feed details float. - **Edit / Remove feed**: When a cell contains a feed, tapping it opens a floating window with **Edit** (pencil) and **Remove** (trash) buttons. ## Common tasks ### Add a new feed 1. Tap an empty feed cell for the horse and feeding you want to change. A floating window appears. 2. In the floating window press **Add new feed**. 3. Fill **Feed type**, **Quantity**, **Start** (and optional **End**) and tap **Save**. ### Edit an existing feed 1. Tap a cell that already shows a feed. 2. In the floating window press **Edit**. 3. Adjust the fields and tap **Save**. ### Remove a feed 1. Tap the feed cell. 2. Press **Remove** (trash icon) in the floating window. 3. Confirm removal in the confirmation dialog. ## Good to know - Only horses with an assigned stable are shown by default; applying any filter or using the search loads all horses, including those without a stable. - The feeding times and feed types are defined in Settings and cannot be changed here. - Changes that start today or tomorrow are highlighted in amber and display the label **Changes today** or **Changes tomorrow**. - You need the “manage feed” permission to see the plus icon and to use **Add new feed**, **Edit** and **Remove**. ## New feed {#save-feed} Use this form to add a new feed entry or modify an existing one in a horse's feed schedule. ### Feed type - Pick the feed type from the list (e.g., hay, concentrate). The unit for the quantity will be shown after you select a type. ### Quantity - Enter the amount. The measurement unit (e.g., kg) appears after the field based on the chosen feed type. ### Start - Set the first day this feed applies. It defaults to today and is required. ### End - (Optional) Set a final day for the feed. Leave empty to keep it active indefinitely. ### After saving - The feed is added to (or updates) the horse's feed schedule and shows up in the feed planning view.
