Buttons here are **Edit**, **Share horse**, **Mark as deceased**, **Mark as not deceased**, **Activate**, **Remove** (or **Remove permanently**) and, if available, **QR code / NFC**. - **Location** (mobile only): the same stable, box and free‑form location fields that appear in the General tab on larger screens. - **Activities**: list of past and upcoming activities; tap an entry to view or edit, use the **+** button to add a new activity. - **Care**: shows the feed schedule (if the horse belongs to a stable or you have feed permission), the *Care settings* tile (vaccination rule, farrier weeks, dentist weeks, deworm weeks, weight, temperature, heart‑rate, respiratory‑rate), the **Care activities** tile and the **Medical documents** tile. - **Media**: photos, videos and other documents; you can upload new files if you have the appropriate permission. - **Breeding**: breeding plan for mares; appears only when the breeding module is active (stallions see a message instead). - **Financial**: invoices, payments and other financial information; visible only when the financial module is enabled and you have view or manage permission. - **Team**: default rider, groom, farrier, vet and trainer contacts; shown only for horses assigned to a stable. - **Feed**: (Facility Booking only) a separate tab that displays the feed schema. ## Common tasks ### Edit a horse’s basic information 1. Open the **General** tab. 2. Tap **Edit** (opens the *Horse basic details* form). 3. Change the fields you need and tap **Save**. ### Move a horse to another stable or location 1. Tap **Move horse** (on mobile it’s in the three‑dot menu, on desktop it’s in the General tab). 2. Choose the destination type (other stable, pasture/other location, or external location), select the target, set the **Arrival date** (or **Departure date** for an external move), and press **Save**. ### Share a horse 1. Tap **Share horse**. 2. Optionally set an expiration date and toggle **Include medical documents**. 3. Tap **Create new link**, then press **Copy** to copy the link or share it via Email or SMS. ## Good to know - The **Breeding**, **Financial** and **Team** tabs only appear when those modules are enabled and you have the required permissions. - The **QR code / NFC** button is hidden in the Facility Booking version and the native facility app. - On a phone the stable, box and location fields are shown in a separate **Location** tab; on larger screens they belong to the **General** tab. - Moving a horse to a location outside its stable marks it as “Temporary away” and lets you optionally attach service bundles. - Medical documents are only visible if you have permission to view them; the same applies to the feed schedule. ## Horse basic details {#basic-details} This dialog shows the basic, read‑only details of the horse you selected. ### Active - Green check (✔) means the horse is active; red cross (✖) means it isn’t. ### Default ride - Shows the assigned rider’s name; **Unknown contact** appears if the rider cannot be identified. The same applies to **Default groom**, **Default trainer**, **Default farrier**, and **Default veterinarian**. ### Group - Displays the name of the group the horse belongs to, or a dash if none. ### Current location - Shows the name of the location (stable, box, etc.) where the horse currently is; a dash is shown if the location is unknown. ## Move horse {#move-horse} - Pick the destination (stable, pasture or external). Leave blank if unknown. ### Temporary or permanent - Choose temporary (horse marked ‘Temporary away’) or permanent. Only shown for external moves. ### Arrival date - Date the horse arrives for internal moves. ### Departure date - Date the horse leaves for external moves. ### Service bundles - Attach bundles to start services at the new location (not for permanent external moves). ### Reason - Select why the horse moves. Only shown for permanent external moves. ### Remove horse - Hide the horse from external list. Only shown for permanent external moves. ### Is exported - Mark as exported when destination unknown and current location is in the Netherlands. ### Is imported - Mark as imported when destination unknown and current location is abroad. ### Unfinished activities - Remove or mark as done any unfinished activities before moving. ### Horses - Names of all horses being moved are shown at the top. ### After saving - Location (and stable if changed) updates, appears in location history, and service bundles start. ## QR code / NFC {#qr-code} This form creates a permanent public link for the horse and displays it as a QR code you can attach to the horse’s box. ### Download QR code (PDF) - Tap to save a PDF with the QR code; you can print it and attach it to the horse’s stable box. ### Write to NFC tag - Only shown on devices that can write NFC tags – press the **Write to NFC tag** button, then follow the on‑screen instruction (hold a tag near your device). The link is stored on the tag, ready to attach to the box. ### After saving - The QR code stays unchanged; the PDF is saved on your device, and the NFC tag now contains the link. No other records change in the app. ## More on this page - [Mare breeding plan](/documentation/horses-details/breeding-plan) - [Care activities](/documentation/horses-details/care-activities) - [Care settings](/documentation/horses-details/care-settings) - [Expenses](/documentation/horses-details/expenses) - [Feed schema](/documentation/horses-details/feed-schema) - [Invoices](/documentation/horses-details/invoices) - [Location history](/documentation/horses-details/location-history) - [Media & documents](/documentation/horses-details/media) - [Medical documents](/documentation/horses-details/medical-documents) - [Ownership](/documentation/horses-details/ownership) - [Phase and employability status](/documentation/horses-details/phase-employability) - [Recurring services](/documentation/horses-details/recurring-services) - [Team](/documentation/horses-details/team)
