# Phase and employability status

The tile shows the horse’s current Phase and Employability status, with the latest values displayed.

## Reading the Phase and employability status
- **Phase**: the most recent training phase (e.g., Phase 2); shows - if none set.
- **Employability**: the most recent suitability for work (e.g., Full); shows - if none set.

## Update the horse’s phase
1. Click the **pencil icon** next to **Phase**.
2. In the pop‑up, select a new **Phase status** from the drop‑down list.
3. Click **Save** to apply the change, or **Cancel** to discard.

## Change the horse’s employability
1. Click the **pencil icon** next to **Employability**.
2. Pick a new **Employability status**.
3. (Optional) Fill in **Motivation** to explain the change.
4. Click **Save** (or **Cancel**).

## View the full history
1. Click the **list icon** next to **Phase** or **Employability** to open a table showing past statuses, dates and, for employability, motivations.

## Good to know
- Only shown for BP organisations.
