# Manage facilities

Use this page to see all facilities that can be reserved and to add, edit or change their status.

## What's on this page
- **Facilities**: table with columns **Name** and **Category**. A disabled facility shows a **Disabled** badge and dimmed text.
- **Add** button (plus icon): top‑right of the tile, opens the *save facility* form to create a new facility.
- **Three‑dots button** (⋮) on each row: opens a dropdown with **Edit**, **Remove**, and **Enable** (the latter only for disabled facilities; **Remove** only when the facility isn’t hidden and has no pending unassigned bookings).

## Common tasks
### Add a new facility
1. Click the **Add** button (plus icon) at the top‑right of the tile.
2. Fill in the details in the form and press **Save**.
3. The new facility appears in the list.

### Edit an existing facility
1. Click the three‑dots button for the facility you want to change.
2. Choose **Edit**.
3. Update the details and press **Save**.

### Enable a disabled facility
1. Click the three‑dots button of a facility that shows the **Disabled** badge.
2. Choose **Enable**.
3. Confirm; the facility is now active and the badge disappears.

## Good to know
- Facilities are sorted alphabetically, with disabled ones moved to the bottom.
- A facility that holds unassigned integration bookings cannot be removed; the **Remove** option will not be shown.
- The **Disabled** badge means the facility is hidden from the reservation calendar.
- You need rights to manage facilities to see the **Add**, **Edit**, **Remove**, and **Enable** actions.

## Add or Edit facility {#save-facility}

- Choose the stable the facility belongs to.

### Facility type
- Pick the type; may affect the shared daily horse booking limit.

### Planning window opens days ahead
- How many days in advance bookings may be made.

### Planning window closes hours before
- Minimum hours a reservation must be planned ahead.

### Maximum number of horses
- Horses per reservation; empty = no limit. Disabled for facilities with unassigned bookings.

### Maximum allowed bookings per horse per day
- Daily horse booking limit; empty = unlimited. Changing it updates all same‑type facilities.

### Allow extra bookings if free after minutes
- Allow exceeding the daily limit when free after the set minutes; empty disables.

### Show as busy from this number of horses
- Show busy when this many horses are booked; empty skips validation.

### Minimum time per reservation
- Shortest reservation length (15 min, 30 min, 1 hour).

### Maximum hours per reservation
- Longest reservation length; empty = no limit.

### Available from
- Earliest time the facility can be booked.

### Available to
- Latest time the facility can be booked.

### Days available
- Select weekdays the facility is open.

### After saving
- Facility appears in the list and can be used for new reservations.
