# Mare cycle checks

Use this page to see the mare cycle checks scheduled for a specific day and to manage their status.

## What's on this page
- **To‑do**: List of pending mare cycle checks. Each row shows the mare’s name, check type badge (e.g., Scan or pregnancy check), owner, date and status symbols. A checkbox lets you mark the check as done; tapping the row opens the activity details. If no pending checks the message “No mare cycle checks to do” appears.
- **Done**: List of checks you have marked as done. Shows the same information but without the checkbox. If nothing is finished yet the text “Nothing finished yet” is shown.
- **Horse box**: Overview of the breeding boxes. Each box displays its number and the mare(s) placed inside, together with the check type label. Empty boxes show “Empty”. Clicking a box selects that mare’s cycle‑check activity.

## Common tasks
### Mark a mare cycle check as done
1. In the **To‑do** list, tick the checkbox next to the activity (requires the permission to set to done).
2. The check moves automatically to the **Done** list.

### Add a new mare cycle check
1. Tap the **Add** button at the top of the page.
2. Fill in the mare, date and any extra information in the form that appears.
3. Press **Save** to create the activity; it will appear in the **To‑do** list.

### Print the pending checks
1. Click the **Print** button on the **To‑do** tile.
2. If serverless functions are enabled a PDF is downloaded; otherwise a warning with a manual URL is shown.

## Good to know
- The page is only shown for stables that have breeding boxes configured; otherwise the **Horse box** section is hidden.
- The checkbox for marking a check as done appears only when you have the appropriate permission.
- The **Print** button works only when serverless functions are enabled; otherwise you receive a warning with a URL you can open manually.
- Only mare cycle check activities are displayed here – other activity types are filtered out automatically.
