# Orders

View and manage breeding orders (semen) placed for your stable. Use this page to see order details, filter the list, identify missing data and perform actions such as exporting shipping slips.

## What's on this page
- **Filter**: opens the filter dialog where you can limit orders by pick status, order status, certificate, incomplete flag, semen type, usage type, shipping country and other criteria.
- **Search station or any field in the order...**: type text to quickly locate orders by station name, mare, stallion, order number, etc.
- **Orders**: a table showing each order with **Shipping date**, **Stallion**, **Semen type**, **Customer**, **Mare**, **Agent**, **DNR**, **Certificate**, **Delivery address**, and **Payment**.
- **New breeding order**: button (top right) to create a new breeding order.
- **Export shipping slip**: button (top right) to generate a shipping slip for the filtered orders.

## Common tasks
### Find a specific breeding order
1. Click the **Filter** button, choose the desired criteria (e.g., **Stallion**, **Mare**, **Is ordered**, etc.).
2. Press **Apply filter** to refresh the list.
   (Or type a term in the **Search station or any field in the order...** field and press Enter.)

### Add a new breeding order
1. Click **New breeding order**.
2. Fill in the required fields such as mare, stallion, semen type, delivery address and customer.
3. Click **Save order** (or **Place order** to finalize immediately).

### Export a shipping slip
1. Click **Export shipping slip**.
2. The app loads all matching orders (a spinner may appear); when ready, the shipping slip file is downloaded.

## Good to know
- Orders missing required data (customer email, mare UELN, or complete delivery address) show a warning icon with the tooltip **Incomplete order**; you must fill those fields before finalizing.
- Orders placed through the webshop display a **Webshop** badge.
- Only orders with a breeding product are listed; subscription items are excluded.
- The **New breeding order** and **Export shipping slip** buttons are only visible if you have permission to manage orders.

## Export shipping slip {#export-shipping-slip}

This dialog lets you generate a PDF shipping slip (and related documents) for the selected semen collection stations and shipping services.

### Semen collection station
- Choose one or more stations; only orders from the chosen stations are included. All stations are pre‑selected.

### Shipping service
- Choose one or more shipping services; only orders that used the selected service are included. A service appears only if a start number for the slip has been set in its settings. The hint explains where to configure this.

### After saving
- Click the **Export orders** button (the number of orders is shown on it) to generate three PDF files – a shipping slip, address‑label sheet and a shipping manifest – which are automatically downloaded. No order data is changed.

## Breeding order {#save-order}

Create a new or edited semen order for a mare, linking mare, stallion, usage type and shipping.

### Mare and customer
- **Mare** and **Customer** – select the mare and the paying customer (must own the mare; click **Add as owner** if not). Optionally pick a breeding plan (pre‑fills usage type). Add an **Agent / Insemination‑station** to specify the insemination contact.
- **Usage type**, **Stallion** & **Semen collection station** – choose AI/ET/ICSI, a stallion (price set) and the collection station (required).
- **Semen type** – Fresh, Frozen, Undiluted or Deep Horn.
- **Shipping details** – destination country, shipping method (next‑day, same‑day, staff delivery or pick‑up) and the date.
- **Certificates** – required TRACES/E‑Cert numbers and seal numbers for EU or non‑EU shipments (fields appear only when needed).
- **After saving** – After saving the order appears in the breeding list with a price summary; tick **Send order confirmation per email** then **Place order** to finalize, or **Save order** to keep as draft.
