# Shipping list

Use this page to view and manage the semen orders that need to be picked and shipped for a specific date, as well as any overdue orders.

## What's on this page
- **Filter bar**: lets you narrow orders by **Is picked**, **Is ordered**, **Is overdue** (choose **By date** or **Overdue**), **Shipping service**, **Semen type**, **Usage type**, **Stallion**, **Agent / Insemination‑station**, **Semen collection station**, and by **Date**. Use the **Search…** field to find orders by name.
- **Orders table**: displays the filtered orders grouped by semen collection station. Columns are **Shipping date**, **Type**, **Stallion**, **Mare**, **Customer**, **Agent**, **Delivery address**, and the action buttons **Pick**, **Unpick order**, **Undo external order**, **New external order**.
- **Print** button: creates a printable PDF of the current list (available after loading finishes).

## Common tasks
### Pick a semen order
1. Locate the order in the list.
2. Click **Pick** in that row.
3. In the modal, choose **Pick fresh semen** or **Pick frozen semen**, enter the required amount, and click **Confirm**.

### Undo a pick
1. Set **Is picked** to **Yes** (or use the filter bar) to show already picked orders.
2. Click **Unpick order** on the order.
3. Confirm the undo in the dialog.

### Create a new external order
1. Click **New external order** on the relevant row.
2. Fill in the external order details in the dialog.
3. Click **Confirm** to place the order.

## Good to know
- When **Is overdue** is set to **Overdue**, the list shows orders whose shipping date has passed; otherwise it shows orders for the selected **Date**.
- The **Is picked** filter lets you view only orders that are already packed (**Yes**) or still open (**No**).
- The **Is ordered** filter indicates orders already sent to an external supplier.
- Orders are grouped by **Semen collection station**; orders without a station appear at the top.

**Pick** – opens the pick order modal to select fresh or frozen semen.
**New external order** – opens the external order modal to order semen from an outside supplier.

## New external order {#external-order}

This dialog lets you confirm and place a new external semen order.

### **Copy**
- Click the copy icon to copy the displayed order details (stallion, mare, UELN, customer, shipping address) to the clipboard.

### After saving
- The order is recorded as externally ordered, appears in the breeding orders list and the dialog closes.

## Pick fresh semen {#pick-order}

Use this dialog to choose how many semen items you will pick from the available stock for the order.

### Stock
- **Stock** shows the number of straws (frozen) or portions (fresh) that are in stock for that mount; you cannot pick a higher amount than this value.

### Straws per portion
- (Only for frozen semen) Shows how many straws correspond to one portion; the total portion amount is calculated from the straws you pick.

### Next
- Becomes active when the total picked meets or exceeds the order quantity; click to review the order details before confirming.

### After saving
- The picked items are recorded on the supplier order; you will see them in the order details (delivery address, shipping method and the list of selected mounts) and the order status is updated accordingly.
